Teltrac’s Integration of Cutting-edge Technology in Oxford Apartments: A Blend of Luxury and Innovation

In a world where technology and comfort converge, Teltrac’s project at Oxford Apartments emerges as a shining example of modern living redefined. Tasked with delivering luxury apartments embedded with the latest technology, Teltrac rose to the challenge, transforming earthquake-damaged structures into havens of high-tech sophistication and comfort.

Oxford Apartments: the Vision for Modern Living

The goal for Oxford Apartments was clear: to create a living space that not only spoke of luxury but also resonated with the unparalleled convenience of modern technology. These apartments were designed to enhance both functionality and usability, setting a new standard for premium living.

Engineering the Transformation

Teltrac’s skilled technicians embarked on a meticulous journey of renovation:

Redefining Connectivity: The first step was to remove all pre-existing cabling, which had been damaged by the earthquake. It was essential to start afresh, laying down the technological groundwork for a new era of connectivity.

Advanced Solutions: Next, they implemented a new MATV solution and installed fresh fibre cabling within common risers. Structured cabling within the apartments was also renewed, ensuring a seamless flow of data and entertainment.

Specialist Installations: Each apartment received custom AV cabling, setting the stage for Specialist AV Installers to outfit each living space with premium audio-visual systems.

Automation at Its Best: Perhaps the crowning feature of Teltrac’s work was the fully automated KNX Building control solution installed in each apartment. This system puts control of lighting, HVAC, blinds, and external louvres at the residents’ fingertips, operable from an intuitive touch panel or remotely via a mobile application.

Collaborative Excellence

Collaboration was key in the success of the Oxford Apartments project. Working alongside Caldwell and Levesque and Dominion Constructors, Teltrac played a pivotal role in both the design and delivery phases. This partnership ensured that every technological component was seamlessly integrated into the architectural vision.

The Team Behind the Tech

Over the span of three years, from the initial concept to the final delivery, more than eight dedicated Teltrac technicians worked diligently under the leadership of Peter Alaba. Their commitment was to ensure the client’s vision of high-quality, technologically-advanced living was fully realised.

The Outcome

Today, Oxford Apartments stands as a beacon of modernity in the heart of the city, inviting residents to experience luxury living powered by technology. For a glimpse into the future of apartment living, visit Oxford Apartments’ website.
